Hollywood, Storyboards and Despicable Me


On August 1st, I will be appearing at the State Historical Society as part of their Hollywood in the Heartland exhibition. At 11:30am I will talk about how the storyboard process works. One of the films I worked on, Despicable Me, will be shown at 1pm.

Here’s the video of Jessica Rundlett and me on Great Day KCWI 23 being interviewed by Jackie Schmillen and Lou Sipolt. Jackie and Lou were great hosts! They asked very good questions and remembered everything we chatted about briefly during the commercial.

Here’s the rough schedule for my storyboard talk…

11:30am – Presentation begins – welcome, background, movies worked on   
11:45am – Ask for kids to help with an idea of a quick story line and Adam to sketch while this goes on. 
12:10pm – Q & A
12:30pm – Presentation ends
